Stephen Curry is eligible for a one-year, $62.6 million extension to his contract with the Golden State Warriors that has $115.3 million remaining over the next two seasons. Curry recently returned to the United States from Paris after winning his first gold medal and plans to be away over the next few weeks, which will delay any possibility of discussing an extension in the short-term.

Curry will dictate the timeline of discussions on a deal with a deadline of October 21st for agreement before the sides can reengage after the season.

The Warriors have privately and publicly maintained the position that they will offer Curry the $62.6 million year onto his contract if he wants it. Curry will be playing in his his age-38 season on that extension.

If Curry waits on an extension, it could allow him to apply extra pressure to Golden State's efforts to improve the roster. Curry is represented by Jeff Austin.

Curry previously signed extensions with the Warriors in 2012 and 2021, as well as a free agent contract in 2017.

Skal Labissiere will be rejoining the Sacramento Kings organization. The Kings and Labissiere have agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract, which will see the big man join the Stockton Kings of the G League after the preseason.

Labissiere played in 40 games for Stockton last season. The 28-year-old center averaged 13.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game for the G League Kings.

Kevon Harris will sign a training camp deal with the LA Clippers and compete for a roster spot.

Harris, who is represented by Daniel Hazan, appeared in 34 games with the Orlando Magic during the 22-23 season and averaged 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13.4 minutes.

In 27 G League games last season, Harris averaged 16.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 28.8 minutes.

Joe Harris has retired from basketball after 10 seasons in the NBA. Harris appeared in 16 games last season with the Detroit Pistons before he was waived.

Harris dealt with a number of injuries dating back to the 21-22 season.

Harris retires as a career 43.6 percent three-point shooter across 504 games. Harris was a key part of the Brooklyn Nets when they contended for the 2021 title before losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round.

The Portland Trail Blazers are leaving ROOT Sports, the cable network that had been broadcasting their games since 2021.

The team is switching television partners with one year remaining on the current deal, sources told The Athletic.

“Trail Blazers basketball will no longer air on ROOT Sports, but we thank ROOT Sports for years of great partnership,” the Blazers said in a statement.

The Blazers did not announce a new local television partner.

The New York Knicks have signed Jacob Toppin to a Two-Way contract. Toppin was previously signed by the Knicks to a Two-Way deal in March.

Toppin spent last season with the New York Knicks appearing in nine games where he averaged 1.4 points on 55.6-percent shooting and 0.8 rebounds over 4.2 minutes. He also averaged 19.8 points on 48.8-percent shooting, 8.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists over 36.7 minutes in 25 games (all starts) for the Westchester Knicks last season.

Toppin is represented by Mitch Nathan, Austin BrownandSam Rose.

Quincy Olivari and the Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract. Oliver went undrafted out of Xavier in this year's draft.

In five Summer League games with the Lakers, Olivari averaged 5.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 14.9 minutes.

In 34 games with Xavier as a fifth-year senior after transferring from Rice, Olivari averaged 19.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 32.2 minutes. Olivari was an All-Big East Honorable Mention player this past season.

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed Kylor Kelley to an Exhibit 10 deal. Kelley averaged 8.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.9 blocks in 22.0 minutes over 29 G League games last season with the Maine Celtics.

Kelley, who is represented by Mayar Zokaei, went undrafted in 2020 out of Oregon State and is a 7'0 center.

The Milwaukee Bucks brought in Terence Davis for a workout, sources told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Davis last appeared in the NBA during the 2022-23 season with the Kings.
